Turn! Turn! Turn!

There are times you are just in the mood. It could be a happy mood, a sad mood or even a moody mood (Lols… whatever that means) and you begin to wonder if you are okay at all because in our eyes, everyone is in the normal mood. This got me thinking and I asked myself if there is anything as “normal mood”.

As always, I would like to know your opinion on this: is there anything as normal mood and when is a mood really considered as normal?
You know how they say like father like son, this time lemme rephrase it and say “like blog mother like blog son”. My blog mother loves hymns so much and she is fund of sharing her favourite hymns on her blog [Check it out Here]. I would like to take a cue from her and share a hymn here – in the spirit of the diverse moods and changing moods.
This hymn was made popular by The Byrds in the 1960's and it has been sung in various versions… It has a biblical reference too.

"Turn! Turn! Turn!"
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time that you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late!
Hope you
Don't you just love the hymn? I hope it spoke to you specially? I am glad I shared.
Now, I would love to share call credit of choice to the first person that tells us the biblical reference of this hymn. *SmileS* …In the Spirit of Eup’s Blogversary.
Cheers!

  4. I like that hymn coz of the biblical reference as Ecclesiastes is one of my favorite books in the Bible. I think being in a normal mood means when someone is happy and just generally "ok". That's how I see it.
