BVN ie.
Bank Verification Number is that set of numbers, which serve as a unique
identity for each bank customer across Nigerian financial institutions.
The
Verification Number for each customer is tied to their captured biometric
details – in this case; finger prints, signature and photograph and linked to their
account.
The BVN
is unique to customers across the banking system and as such, a customer with
more than one bank accounts in different banks only needs to do his/her BVN
registration in one of the banks and then ensure that the Bank Verification
Number gotten be taken to other banks where he/she has accounts for linkage.
Have
you got your BVN? Do you have account with other banks? Have you gone to these
other banks to submit your BVN for linkage with the accounts you have there?
Answer these questions quickly and do the needful, because the deadline given
by the CBN for this exercise is 31st of October (i.e. the last day
of this month).
BVN promises added security on customers account and it reduced fraud within the banking system too. It also promises to reduce the time in which a customer's financial transactions are processed... "Na so them talk o".
Failure
to do your BVN or get the one you have got linked to your other accounts in other banks after the 31st October deadline, customers may (will) be restricted from transacting on their account. Don't be caught unawares... spread the message; Me I don do my own o.
Alright gata go now.
Cheers!

ReplyDeleteGood for you... But you shouldn't be thinking o.

Are taking us back to the days of our fathers? No naa... Okay, just go do the BVN just for the sake and leave the account (don't close it); it won't take anything from you, just 5minutes.
DeleteTry, you hear?
I am yet to link the number to my other account. Ok, let me walk down to Access Bank. Procrastination is a bastard!
ReplyDeleteGood for you o... It is best not to give the banks a reason do shakara for you with your money o.
DeleteWahala o! I'm yet to link my bvn to my other accounts. Thanks for this reminder o. I must go to the banks tomorrow.

ReplyDeletelessons from the candy Crush game
That's good to know.
DeleteLong time Mimi...
Done, they gave me one long number, is that the BvN?
ReplyDeleteBolateethole.blogspot.com
Lol... the numbers are eleven (11) digits. Count the number they gave you, if it is up to eleven, then it is your BVN, but ensure you take it to other banks you operate an account with for linkage to those accounts.
DeleteI've done mine too.
ReplyDeletePamscrib.blogspot.com
You are compliant... Cheers!
DeleteDid mine yesterday.
ReplyDeletewww.ckjacob.com

ReplyDeletewww.alabekee.com
Good to know.
DeleteDid mine since may or so.
ReplyDeleteIf you have not done yours, who would? A whole Naija Mom.
DeleteLol.
I did one but yet to link it with other accounts...just been lazy about it. Am just sure they wont close 26million account without providing a remedy.
ReplyDeleteHehehe... Isoryt!
DeleteCBN did not say accounts without BVN will be closed... They only said that there will be restricted access to those accounts by their owners and users. For the records, I don't know what you are talking about mentioning bank closing a 26million account.
