A Christmas Carol

Wow… my blog mother just reminded me that today makes it exactly 12 days to Christmas as she share that popular hymn we all love: Twelve Days of Christmas. I am supper excited because I am just coming to terms with the fact that Christmas is already around the corner and more especially because no sooner than you know it, Santa Claus will be in town, so you better watch out. (*SmileS*)

I had supper fun this time last year touring the country – from Lagos to Akwa-Ibom to Owerri and eventually to Abuja. One thing I enjoyed about the whole movement was that I attended Christmas Carol in all these cities. The Akwa-Ibom Christmas carol was the biggest, where a Guinness world record was set for the largest number of Christmas carol singer in the world. The choristers numbers 25,272… Amazing I must say. You can imagine what the arena felt like at the stadium when all the choristers lifted up their voice in one accord to sing hymns like Joy to The World, The First Noel, O Come All Ye Faithful… I will leave that for you to imagine.
Oow this year, a lot has changed. If not for the announcement made in church today about the Carol that would take place today, I wouldn’t have had plenty hopes of being part of Christmas Carol of 2015. I love the Christmas song; I love the Joy that comes with the season.
I love the fact that it’s so sure that I will eat lots of Chicken and possible some party rice as much as I want… heheheee. Most importantly that Christ came to us – the significance means so much to me. Will tell you about that later.
I must go now, before I go late to the carol. Hope you attend at least one Christmas carol this season… I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Cheers!

    1. I am just beginning to realise that you need to be a fan of something to be part of it... hmmmm. Seems weird sha. But try and attend one, especially in a place where you are sure of the quality of the choir. You won't regret it.
