What You Do With Your Worries

Show me a man who has a completely smooth ride through life and you will only have succeeded in taking me to the land of wonders. Life is filled with ups and downs. We are always advised to have high expectations in life, but prepare for the worst. This reveals how uncertain life can get – no one knows what will really happen the next minute. We just have to live on till we live no more (at least, here on earth), and so our cares and worries are at their heights.

These thoughts came to me and it kept me sober for a while, but then I a comforting thought took over. This thought is a popular extract from the bible…the book of Psalms to be precise. “Put all your cares (burdens) on the Lord and he will be your support; he will not let the upright man be moved.” Psalm 55:22
How often do we rely so much, if not completely on our strength and our understanding to pass through the hurdles of life. We want to figure things out ourselves and of course since 1 + 1 = 2, the why disturb others, let alone God when the result is obvious. We know the stories of how things could get, better than I can tell it and so deep within, our minds remain troubled and the feeling of emptiness is sustained.
My message for you and I today is simply as it is in the book of the Psalms 55:22 and 1 Peter 5:7: "cast all your worry on him, because he cares for you”
Jesus cares for you. You know you can only cast your worries on him if you have a personal relationship with him. It is no magic... Jesus cares for you as much as he cares for me, all he requires for you is to accept him and love him in your heart and acts, and you will be amazed at the measure of peace you will find within you no matter what happens in life.

Cast your cares on him today, trusting him completely to sustain you.
Cheers friends... I feel so inspired. *SmileS*

Ok back to the post hmmmm putting our worries to our maker. Oh yes it's easy to say but even when we cast everything to him, we still worry in one way or the other. May God give us more understanding.

  6. Wow...I am encouraged. A lot of times we want to do everything by ourselves. If only we can be trusting enough of God to leave everything in his hands. If only. If we worry about our clothes, food, academics etc., it is only fair to also worry about what position we are going to wake up on the bed tomorrow. Worrying is just useless abeg. I pray the Lord will give us a trusting heart because e no easy too sha.

Nice post, Ugo. God bless you.
