My Sexual Needs; My Girlfriend Up To It?

This might just be my shortest post so far, so I will cut the preamble and proceed. It's Monday, no time, everything is sharp sharp today including this post... So I had one short conversation with this lady I meet recently. I didn't need to share it but I am doing so already.
She asked me: “What of your girlfriend?”

“What if I don’t have any?” was my response.
“When you are not gay… Body no bi fire wood naa. Why don’t you have a girlfriend or are you actually trying to tell me that you are gay?”
I was just meeting her for the first time. She is very jovial; a kind of person who loves to express herself, that was my observation. She went on trying to make her point on my need to have a girlfriend, stressing most the need to satisfy my sexual need (urge) whenever “conji dey worry me” (as in, when I am horny). She wasn't proposing to be the one to satisfy me ooo, she was only sharing her opinion... But what if i'm wrong seef? Lols.
“I never said I don’t have a girlfriend, I only said what if I don’t have a girlfriend?” I had to cut in after I had heard enough from her and enough really got me thinking.
Now, I don’t want to be biased in my thinking… lemme share some of the things that went through my mind:
·        So I must have a girl friend?
·        So if I don’t have a girlfriend, it means I am gay?
·        So my girlfriend is to give-in to my sexual urge and satisfy me, whenever I am on?
·        So whenever I am horny, I must find a means or girl to satisfy my urge, girlfriend or not?
·        What is the true position of sex is a relationship (for the unmarried)?
·        What if I am not in a relationship, how do I handle my sexual urge, because true true, body no bi fire wood?
·        What is truly the role of the female folks in relationships between them and their boyfriends?
On a converse situation (where I speak as a lady), I would ask if I should have a boyfriend with a keen intention to satisfy her sexual urge amongst others...
I know you have a better understanding on this issue and I will like you to help me here throw some light, your perspective might just be bringing someone into the light. I will try to ensure that the lady who inspired this post reads it to see your view.

Do have a wonderful day and week.
Cheers!

PS. My blogversary is in two days’ time and my spirit has said I must take my number one blog fan over the year to the movies. I am sure she knows herself already (do you want to guess who she is?)… I will surely contact her. Lol. Aspa other plans, stay tuned, praying there will be one because economy don tight.

  7. Na wa o! See them trying to push my baby into temptation.
Si mba o, si mba, nwa Chukwu si mba.
But seriously though, I don't understand why we emphasise sex in relationships rather than getting to enjoy the other person better.
You can have a girlfriend without having sex, you don't even need a relationship for sex, you can get it if you want. But this babe sha!

My blogversary parry...heheheeeee. Lemme not say anything about it here, least I am accused of being bias again. lol. My next post will say more on it.

  8. BMF is so right. Sex shouldn't be d main priority in a relationship jare. So d gal is wrong. If konji hold u, distract urself with something else. Simple.

  9. I would believe she was justbjoking throughout the conversation. Nothing wrong with being single until you are ready for a relationship; it shouldn't imply that a person is gay or homo... secondly, women are not objects of pleasure that's should be used for satisfying urges. When we say man was created in God's image, we are equally saying that they have the ability to exercise self control and only
exhibit certain emotions in the right enviroment which is marriage. .. I say wait until you're married if you ain't married

  10. Since I have grown o, I have gotten to know that relationship doesn't start because of one's urge to satisfy. If a guys needs to satisfy his urge they are so many ways for a guy to, but a relationship is a pah to marriage 9(in most cases) though most times abused too. But then if you consider the amount of times you will have to sleep with that particular person when you guys start forever, it gives you reasons to want to hold on.

  13. Boyfriend? I don't like boyfriend in relation to sex. It can ruin real friendships, if not careful. I personally think the friendship is more important. You need sex...you are a lover. Define boyfriend. Boyfriend as in lets hang out from time to time, mutual friend dates, kiss and hug at end of date? Or lover boyfriend lets have sex and unplanned pregnancies boyfriend. How about we call a spade a spade? More than likely she's trying to see where you are in relationships. Do you like men or women? The question is crucial these days. It should be asked. Your response prompts ensenuation and causes confusion. Do you have a girlfriend? Yes or No? Are you gay, bisexual or trans? Yes or No? Sex feels good, most want some. What kind do you want? The boyfriend/girlfriend kind that leads to distrust, lack of intimacy cause you just rolling in the hay or unplanned pregnancies? I dont recommend you mess up your life for this kind. Or do you want a mature healthy bonding that leads to a long term partnership called marriage? This kind you promise God you will spend the rest of your life getting it right. Satisfied or not. As for sex, its worthless unless some sort of intimacy/ bond is being established. Your question..What is the position of sex in relation for the unmarried? Comfort! We all seek it, most thrive on it. Unfortunately it comes with no responsibility and accountability. What is female role in relationship w/ boyfriend? Her role is whatever she chooses it to be and NO should always mean NO! Hopeful she chooses mature, healthy and respected soul. So she can have all she wants, needs and desires. My opinions are mine. Stay blessed!

  15. In another news, i have a feeling she's interested in you and was only probing to be sure the coast is clear. My thought though....
As per your question, true friendship doesn't need sex to thrive. I don't want to be religious here but sexual involvement in a relationship clouds the true essence of friendship

  18. Oh my God! Her own is just too much. What causes all these questions pls?

No relationship between an unmarried individual with SEX. Sex is for the committed married couples, and that our society has been polluted to this level, does not make sex right for singles.

Best way to manage yourself when you are constantly horny is to GET MARRIED AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

    1. Brother, I love the way you ended your comment "GET MARRIED AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE"... It is so sooo the way out, but taking a critical look at it, that could lead us to another level of wahala, because marrying for the sake of satisfying sexual urge I feel is a wrong that will backfire sooner than latter. #MyOpinion.

Thanks for your opinion on this discussion.
