I put
on my spikes and knot the lace. Then I head for the tracks, on lane 2 where it
is more than luck for me – more of hard work and dedication overtime. Now down
on my knees with my two hands firm on the ground and a bowed head. I close my eyes
for a moment and all I see is the end and victory. Then the voice of the
referee goes “set…”, then a gun shot.
