This write up is not intended to stir up any argument but if it does I
don't mind, as far as I know arguments can sometimes prove helpful. It is
however aimed at gaining some clarity on the concept of being a Catholic.

How Would you Spend Your Weekend?
TGIF
has become popular on a day like this especially for those who work form Monday
to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are work free days for them and as such they
spend it the way they choose to. I remember how I spent my last weekend. I had planned it two
weeks ahead already – Saturday, attend the wedding of a friend in the company of some
other friends and that’s all. So my plans for that weekend centered on the
wedding I had planned to attend.

What of my Meat?
Happy Holiday guys… I was very excited that holiday was coming and only when I am beginning to enjoy the holiday; it wants to finish – what kind of thing is that seeef…lol.
Thank God for our Muslim friends. If it isn’t for them, this holiday wouldn’t have been. So in a very special way, I wish them all Eid-Mubarak.
Now back to business… I am yet to get any ram meat from my Muslim friends in blogsville. Is it the cost for delivery that is the problem? Just tell me and I will trek to come collect it, don’t worry about the stress, we all know the situation of the economy… Keep my meat o.
Please I have a question to ask o: what is the possibility of this holiday being extended by one extra day? The last time it was the moon, what about now?
Do enjoy the rest of the break... Happy holiday.
Cheers!

Medina Book Club is 1
Hello Friends, it has been raining like
forever since the beginning of the week. The last day of the week is here already
and the rains is not taking it easy at all. I am having mixed feelings about the weather
right now.
Don’t get me wrong, for the very fact that
I should be home resting (sleeping and eating) like all day, I love the weather, but
I wish.I have plans to step out today to be part of an event that promises to
be educative, inspiring and exciting. It’s the Medina Book Club 1st
year Anniversary.
“Pheew! How time flies” those where the unspoken words I
heard from Onyinye, my very good friend, when she told me about the anniversary.

A New Month as Zuckerberg's Walk in Lagos Wakes Me
Just as
the month of August was coming to an end, Mark Zuckerburg the founder and CEO
of Facebook flew into Lagos, Nigeria. The various social media platforms went
agog. At a point yesterday, I checked twitter and discovered that Yaba was
trending just because Mark whom I like to call Mr Facebook, trekked through the
street.
From
the pictures I saw especially on twitter, there were no visible sign of
security personnel neither was it recorded that there was a helicopter hovering
around Yaba area at the time. Mr Facebook walked in the company of his friends
and few press men. From one of the aerial shots taken, a person selling pure
water sachet could even be seen not too far away from him and his companions.
