A New Month as Zuckerberg's Walk in Lagos Wakes Me

Just as the month of August was coming to an end, Mark Zuckerburg the founder and CEO of Facebook flew into Lagos, Nigeria. The various social media platforms went agog. At a point yesterday, I checked twitter and discovered that Yaba was trending just because Mark whom I like to call Mr Facebook, trekked through the street.
From the pictures I saw especially on twitter, there were no visible sign of security personnel neither was it recorded that there was a helicopter hovering around Yaba area at the time. See Me Back in Lagos Traffic

At the earlier stage of this blog, I used to lament a lot about Lagos traffic. I did most of my blogging then on Lagos traffic, usually in a BRT bus and sometimes in danfo. That period was not beans easy o, I dreaded morning and evening just because of traffic. If only I could just say some incantations and disappear to appear at work in the morning and vice versa ine evening, I would think to myself… na wa ooo. Thene I had this employment (a Federal Government Graduate Internship Scheme initiative) at Lekki, a work that brought a lot out of me, including so much inspiration that has kept me in blogsvile till this day.

The challenge has been balancing my time such that after work and the time I spend on the road to and fro work, find food to eat before I go to work and after I return, and sleep, still find spare time to articulate that which I would love to blog about. It has really been a challenge.

BRT and I

Presently, I seem to be having a very special connection with BRT and I am taking my time to understand it. A friend recently told me that BRT reminds him of MOLUE and I think he has a point...
